Parkour is more than just another urban sport. Like ancient pathfinders, the disciples of this sport rewrite the urban environment while looking for a new way to interact with the city. The traceurs roam the urban plains geometrically, challenging their bodies, while the director frames their movements with cubistic precision. Like graffiti art, parkour affirms the centrality of subjectivity in modern cities.

Parkour is more than just another urban sport. Like the pathfinders of the past, the disciples of this contemporary sport intend to rewrite the urban environment while looking for a new and maybe meaningful way to interact with the city. Therefore, behind every obstacle might lie the possibility of a new track that may lead to a new route through the city. The interaction between human body and the city landscape transcends itself morphing into a ritual of seduction. The body is reflected on the surface of the city while the city becomes almost a living organism. The traceurs geometrically roam the urban plains challenging their endurance while the director frames their movements with almost cubistic precision. Like graffiti art, parkour affirms the centrality of subjectivity in modern city landscapes. Traceurs is a minimalistic city symphony where the glimpsed body is the resilient element of human experience in the context of post-modern dehumanizing urban landscapes. Like ghosts, the traceurs become the stuff of urban legends, and the city a place where stories can be told again.
