Les Accords d’Alba is the first exercise in admiration that Vincent Dieutre has devoted to a filmmaker. The conversation with Naomi Kawase unfolds in an improvised Esperanto of Japanese, Italian and English, where hesitant phrases come together into a coherent discourse on “the mystery of the art” expressed through shared practice and sensitivity.
