In Taiwan, Sri Lanka, on the Andean plateaux or in the Peruvian jungle, groups of friends wander, trying to escape their soul-destroying jobs in a world taken over by multibillionaires. Suddenly and mysteriously falling asleep, the various groups come together, as if naturally projected from one dimension to another, to continue their enigmatic wanderings together. Eduardo Williams revives his work begun with The Human Surge (don't worry, you haven't missed volume 2 – it doesn't exist), inviting us to join his protagonists scattered to the four corners of the world in this breathtaking visual work with experimental overtones. Shot entirely with a 360° camera, the latter becomes a wandering eye, half-machine, half-spirit, capturing the ordinary yet utterly fantastic adventures of these time-travellers. A life-size treasure hunt in which everyone speaks their own language and understands each other, you can travel from one side of the Earth to the other with a click of your fingers, and tomatoes grow underwater.
