An elite group of athletes gathers under one of the world’s tallest permanent diving platforms. Guided by the gentle rhythms of training, the hum of the pool deck and a breathtaking sense for cinematography, Divers observes their training process, from careful preparation to the restless anticipation that builds before ascending the 27-meter tower.
Every winter, a group of elite divers gather in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, under one of the highest permanent diving boards in the world. At 27 metres high, the concrete structure is so impressive that it seems to brush the clouds and caress the sun.

At the foot of the tower, the athletes are warming up. Muscles stretch, tense and relax in rhythmic movements that express the limits of their bodies and their desire to surpass them. On the edge of the diving board, these men and women face themselves and the challenge they have set themselves, armed only with their precise and endlessly rehearsed movements, echoed in a breathtakingly poised and masterfully framed cinematographic treatment. Then comes the jump into the void, filmed from below, capturing that brief, vertiginous and ecstatic moment when the athlete seems suspended in the sky. A leap into the void, in which the power of images is harnessed in order to express our yearning for the infinite.
