In a village in the Argentinian countryside, the inhabitants lead a life characterised by nature and routine. When a light appears to the elderly farmer Omar one night, he sets off with his grandson Noah on a journey in search of meaning. In a holiday villa whose owners are never there, the two housekeepers Rosana and Lily make a strange discovery, as magic and reality intertwine.
In a small village nestled in the Argentine countryside, the inhabitants lead a quiet life, shaped by the rhythms of their working days. One night, Omar, a village elder and farmer, witnesses a strange light in the sky. Together with his grandson Noah, he embarks on a quest to uncover the meaning behind this supernatural event. Meanwhile, Roxane and Lily are preparing a holiday home for a family from Buenos Aires, who are inexplicably delayed in arriving. In the process, they make a singular discovery—one that opens a path to new forms of knowledge, in stark contrast to an Argentina sinking deeper into crisis.
Agostina Di Luciano and Leon Schwitter draw from magical realism, mysticism, and popular folklore to craft a work that seamlessly blends documentary and fiction. In this topsy-turvy world, what meaning can reality still hold, when it too seems to be turned on its head? The actors, playing versions of themselves, become co-conspirators with the filmmakers, offering a subtly humorous and gently re-enchanted vision of the world.
