For its 56th edition, the Visions du Réel Festival is pleased to renew its collaboration with Le Lieu-Dit! As part of this partnership, Le Lieu-Dit and Visions du Réel are looking for people interested in creating Tandems.
The idea of a Tandem is to connect a French-speaking person from the Nyon area with a person in exile. These individuals will meet, get to know each other, and choose a film from the Visions du Réel program to watch together.

If integration is the responsibility of those who arrive, it is just as much the responsibility of those who welcome them. Tandems provide an opportunity for people in exile—who are often isolated—to practice their French and strengthen their social networks.
Founded in Nyon in 2016, the association Le Lieu-Dit is committed to supporting people in exile. It offers various forms of practical assistance to help them settle in, including multiple French lessons and administrative guidance, always with respect for everyone.
