Film Development & Artist Support Manager Field of Vision

Sarah Choi is the Film Development & Artist Support Manager at Field of Vision. She supports the development and production of short and feature-length Field of Vision films, and provides support to all artists Field of Vision works with. Field of Vision is a filmmaker-driven documentary unit that commissions, creates and supports original short-form and feature-length nonfiction films and episodic series about developing and ongoing stories around the globe. Their mission is to support work that uses innovative and artistic ways to explore contemporary global issues through a cinematic lens, and to push the boundaries of nonfiction storytelling.

Co-Director of Film Programming and Panorama Section head Berlinale

Michael Stütz has been head of the Panorama section since June 2019 and Co-Director of Film Programming since July 2024. Born in Linz, Austria in 1977, he studied theatre, film, and media in Vienna and Berlin, working on film productions at Studio Babelsberg. He moved to Berlin in 2005 and interned at the 2005 TEDDY AWARD. Stütz became assistant to Panorama head Wieland Speck in 2006 and held various roles, including programme coordinator and curator. From 2011-2017, he co-directed the XPOSED International Queer Film Festival. He serves on juries for festivals like Sarajevo and Thessaloniki, is on the Filmfonds Vienna jury, and is a board member of the TEDDY foundation and the European Film Academy.

CEO Arizona Distribution

Bénédicte Thomas was in charge of production on several feature films, including Waiting for hapiness by Abderrahmane Sissako and Abouna by Mahamat Saleh Haroun in 2002. Then she worked on special events for the National French broadcaster France 3 between 2004 and 2009. Since 2011, she runs Arizona Distribution, defending with her team films and filmmakers she loves and daring cinematographic choices. With a catalogue of around 70 films celebrated in the best international film festivals, Arizona Distribution contributes to promoting the work of filmmakers from all over the world in France, including Maryam Moghaddam & Behtash Sanaeeha (Iran), Asmae El Moudir (Morocco), Rodrigo Moreno (Argentina), Jonás Trueba (Spain), Hong Sangsoo (South Korea), July Jung (South Korea), Nora Martirosyan (Armenia), Hlynur Pálmason (Iceland) and Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese (Lesotho).

Eleni Chandrinou works as an international film consultant and audiovisual expert, based in Brussels and Athens. When she is not developing or producing, she advises filmmakers on all aspects of the creative process from early-stage development to advanced presentations and funding strategies. She also provides expertise to festivals, markets, and major national and international film funding bodies. From 2020 to 2022 she served as vice president of the board of the Greek Film Center and currently represents Greece at Eurimages.

Gianluca is an Italian director based in Paris. Over the past five years, he has directed nine films, screening at major festivals like Venice, Sundance, IDFA, Thessaloniki, CPH:DOX, Hot Docs. He has won awards, including Best Italian Documentary at TFF and the Queer Lion in Venice. Supported by France Télévisions, ARTE, RTS, RAI, his films include Everything Must Go, The Last Chapter, Fashion Babylon, A Steady Job, Les Beaux Parleurs, Pinned into a Dress, The Zola Experience, GEN_.

Head of Hubert Bals Fund Rotterdam International Film Festival

Tamara Tatishvili is the Head of the Hubert Bals Fund at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and Head of MEDICI – The Film Funding Journey. Previously, she served as Director of the Georgian National Film Center and co-founded the Independent Filmmakers’ Association – South Caucasus. She’s also held key roles with the European Women’s Audiovisual Network and is an expert at ImpACT LAB in Cannes, as well as a member of the Investor’s Circle selection committee.

Feature films selection committee Locarno Film Festival

Chilean-French programmer, consultant and critic. Member of Locarno’s selection committee since 2021. She collaborates with film funds (including visions sud est for Locarno), labs, residencies and industry events, mostly assessing and selecting projects in all phases, or mentoring them at all stages, as well as pitching training; and with festivals moderating Q&As and conferences. As a freelance writer, she has contributed to a number of publications for over two decades.

Head of programming FIFF- Fribourg International Film Festival

Geneva native Gaëlle Genet holds a Master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Fribourg, specializing in ethics and aesthetics. Since 2020, she has been working at the Fribourg International Film Festival (FIFF), where she currently serves as head of programming. She is also a member of FIFF’s artistic commission, responsible for selecting feature films for the international competition and consulting on the rest of the festival’s programming.
